The City of Bridgeport is working to make meetings more accessible to the public through allowing for in-person, hybrid, and virtual meeting options.

The audiovisual system at City Hall, 45 Lyon Terrace, is not currently equipped to successfully hold hybrid meetings. However, the meetings that occur there, including City Council and other City commissions, function best when they are accessible to the public through a variety of mediums.

The City has contracted LiveWire Sound and Image, a Connecticut-based firm, to spearhead the upgrades that include improving public microphone access, presentation capabilities, hybrid accommodations, and audio/visual recordings.
