The City of Bridgeport is working to make meetings more accessible to the public through allowing for in-person, hybrid, and virtual meeting options.
The audiovisual system at City Hall (45 Lyon Terrace) currently supports hybrid meetings only in the Wheeler Rooms, not in the City Council Chambers. However, meetings held in the Chambers—including those of the City Council and various City commissions—are most effective when accessible to the public through a variety of mediums.
The City is currently performing upgrades that include improving public microphone access, presentation capabilities, hybrid accommodations, and audio/visual recordings.
