THE CITY OF BRIDGEPORT BRANDING INITIATIVE

The City of Bridgeport has been going through an exciting time in its history due to several distinctions. Its incomparable location on the Sound stands with 24 miles of waterfront; it also offers 1,300 acres of public access. It’s easily reached through several modes of transportation—i.e., major highways, train service, and ferry. These features along with the vibrancy of the diverse community and the many cultures that thrive within the city, have driven the significant growth of restaurants, entertainment options/venues, waterfront development, building construction, and more.

Now, the city of Bridgeport is taking the important step of creating a logo that visually represents the Bridgeport of today and into the future. We are asking the community to provide feedback on three logo design options. Your input is not only greatly appreciated, but truly matters!

Please look through the options below and vote for your favorite!

Logo 1

A modern, visually stylized logo that reflects the Bridgeport of today. The capital B, with a prism design of greens and blues, are a nod to the city’s location on Long Island Sound, its abundance of parks, its vibrant & diverse community and its growing culture of music, entertainment and restaurants.

Logo 2

A badge design with a deep blue base and gold highlights represents strength, pride, history and tradition. The gold border trim, along with a strong tree icon, a Park City sub-banner and an established year are all elements that reflect Bridgeport’s stature, significance, vitality and heritage.

Logo 3

A fresh, approachable design that proudly communicates Bridgeport using a bold font in blue tones to reflect its location on Long Island Sound and its 24 miles of waterfront. The use of a strong and powerful green tree visually represents the 1,300 acres of park access, and its long history of being known as the “The Park City”.
